  1. نعم الله على الخلق كثيره

    إنما لم يحسنوا معها العشيره

    God's blessings upon creation are many.

    Yet they have not kept good company with them.

  2. والسبب في ذاك إظلام البصيره

    وفساد في الفؤاد والسريره

    And the cause of that is the darkening of inner sight,

    And corruption in the heart and the inner self.
