بمُهجتيwith my lifeblood أَفديهI would ransom him مِنْhow (expressing admiration)
بمُهجتي أَفديه مِنْ
فصيحِeloquent لَفْظِutterance of مُعْجَمِهْhis inarticulate speech
فصيحِ لَفْظِ مُعْجَمِهْ
With my lifeblood I would ransom him—how
eloquent his inarticulate speech!
لاnot يستطيعُcan اللفظُthe utterance أَنْto
لا يستطيعُ اللفظُ أَنْ
يَخْرُجَcome forth منbecause of ضِيقِthe narrowness of فمِهhis mouth
يَخْرُجَ من ضِيقِ فمِه
Words cannot
come forth, so narrow is his mouth.
