يأَيُّهاO الْبُسْتَانgarden إِنif حَصَّلْتyou secure ليfor me
يأَيُّها الْبُسْتَان إِن حَصَّلْت لي
مَنْthe one whom صِرْتI have become مَخْمُوراًdrunk بكأْسِfrom the cup of مُكَاسهhis coy bargaining
مَنْ صِرْت مَخْمُوراً بكأْسِ مُكَاسه
O garden, if you secure for me
O garden, if you give me
The one whose cup of coy bargaining has left me drunk,
One intoxicated with the cup of his companionship
لأُجَلِّينَّكI shall surely adorn you منwith بَهاءِthe radiance of جَبينهhis brow
لأُجَلِّينَّك من بَهاءِ جَبينه
ولأَخْلُفَنَّand I shall surely recompense عَلَيْكyou مِنْwith أَنْفاسِهhis breaths
ولأَخْلُفَنَّ عَلَيْك مِنْ أَنْفاسِه
I shall surely adorn you with the radiance of his brow,
I will adorn you with the splendor of his brow
And surely recompense you with his breaths.
And bestow upon you the fragrance of his breath
