أُعيذُها أَلفَ أَلفِ مَرَّهْ

أُعيذُها أَلفَ أَلفِ مَرَّهْ

لأَنها أَلْفُ أَلْفِ دُرَّه

لأَنها أَلْفُ أَلْفِ دُرَّه

I invoke protection for her a million times,

I protect her a thousand thousand times

because she is a million pearls;

For she is a pearl of a thousand thousand

لأَنني أَرْتَجِي عَلَيْها

لأَنني أَرْتَجِي عَلَيْها

منَ مَالِكِي أَلْفَ أَلْفِ بَدْره

منَ مَالِكِي أَلْفَ أَلْفِ بَدْره

because I hope to receive in return for her

Because I yearn for her

from my master a million purses of money.

From my Master a thousand thousand full moons

وإِنَّ ذَا عِنْدَه قَلِيلٌ

وإِنَّ ذَا عِنْدَه قَلِيلٌ

وفي ندى كفِّه كَذَرَّه

وفي ندى كفِّه كَذَرَّه

And indeed, this is little to him,

And that to Him is so little

and like a speck amid the bounty of his palm.

And in the dew of His palm a mere speck
