وَزيرُ والينا الرِضى أَفلَحُ

يَقرَأُ راجيهِ عَلى فيهِ لا

يَقرَأُ راجيهِ عَلى فيهِ لا

The minister of our governor al-Rida is cleft-lipped;

Our minister's contentment has thrived

Whoever hopes for his favor reads “No” upon his lips.

He reads the hopes of his subjects unfailing
