  1. لاموا عليك وما دروا

    أن الهوى سبب السعادة

    They reproached me over you, and did not know

    that love is the cause of happiness.

  2. إن كان وصل فالمنى

    أو كان هجر فالشهادة

    If there is union, then wishes are fulfilled;

    or if there is separation, then martyrdom.
