أقُولُI say لِمنto whoever يُسَائِلُasks عَنabout مَحَلِّيmy dwelling
أقُولُ لِمن يُسَائِلُ عَن مَحَلِّي
تَقَدَّمgo forward وَامشِand walk مِنfrom خَلفِbehind السَّوارِيthe pillars
تَقَدَّم وَامشِ مِن خَلفِ السَّوارِي
I say to whoever asks about my abode:
I say to whoever asks about my dwelling:
Go forward, and walk behind the pillars;
Go forward and walk behind the pillars,
وَمُرَّand go on فَحَيثُso where مَاever تَلقَىyou encounter حِكَاكاًan itch
وَمُرَّ فَحَيثُ مَا تَلقَى حِكَاكاً
بِسُرمِكَin your anus لاَdo not تَعَدَّgo farther فَثَمَّfor there دَارِيmy house
بِسُرمِكَ لاَ تَعَدَّ فَثَمَّ دَارِي
then pass on—wherever you meet with a chafing
And go on; wherever you feel an itch
against your arse, go no farther: there is my house.
In your anus, go no farther—for there is my house.
