May we, if we make the pilgrimage, see Umm Jahdar,
Perhaps if we make the pilgrimage we'll see the mother of spots
and may a road from Nakhlatayn bring us together,
And a road will unite us from two palm trees
وَتَصطَكَّand knock together أَعضادُupper forelegs المَطيِّthe riding camels وَبَينَناand between us

حَديثٌ مُسَرٌ دونَ كُلِّ رَفيقِ
and may our camels’ upper forelegs knock together, while between us
And the camel litter's poles will creak between us
there is a secret conversation, kept from every companion.
A delightful conversation without any companion
