ياO ربِّmy Lord كَمhow many لَكَof Yours منof يَدٍa favor (literally, a hand) عظُمَتproved immense
يا ربِّ كَم لَكَ من يَدٍ عظُمَت
عِنديto me فنِلتُso I attained بهاthrough it المُنىthe wishes سَرحاfreely
عِندي فنِلتُ بها المُنى سَرحا
O my Lord, how many a favor of Yours has proved immense
O Lord, how many a hand you have exalted
To me, so that through it I freely attained my wishes.
With which I gained my wishes without hindrance
وأَجَلُّهنَّand the greatest of them يَدٌa hand كتبتُI wrote بهاwith it
وأَجَلُّهنَّ يَدٌ كتبتُ بها
لزبورِfor the Psalter آلthe family of مُحمَّدٍMuhammad شَرحاa commentary
لزبورِ آل مُحمَّدٍ شَرحا
And the greatest of them is a hand with which I wrote
And the most glorious of them is the hand
