إِذا ضَلَّت قُلوبٌ عن هُداها

إِذا ضَلَّت قُلوبٌ عن هُداها

فَلَم تَدرِ العقابَ من الثوابِ

فَلَم تَدرِ العقابَ من الثوابِ

If hearts stray from their guidance,

When hearts go astray from their guidance

And cannot tell punishment from reward,

And cannot discern punishment from reward

فأَرشِدها جزاكَ اللَه خَيراً

فأَرشِدها جزاكَ اللَه خَيراً

بإرشادِ القلوب إِلى الصَوابِ

بإرشادِ القلوب إِلى الصَوابِ

Then guide them—may God reward you with good

Then guide them, may Allah reward you well

For guiding hearts to what is right.
