معقرب السالف والصدغ
I fell for him, bough-like, with a lisp,
I clung to him like a branch with a lisp
With scorpion-curled sidelocks and temple-locks.
Twisting past and cheek together

Through those two, in love, he has added for me,
With the two of them my love for him grew
By forsaking me, sting upon sting.
His abandonment stung upon sting

He says, 'No, by God, I do not know.'
He said "No, by God, I do not perceive it"
