A moon clothed me in the robe of wasting sickness;
A moon clothed me in the garb of longing,
beauty clothed him in the robe of modesty.
While beauty clothed him in the garb of aloofness.

He let fall from his temple to his cheek
From his cheek to his brow he sent
a lock beneath his tresses.
A glance beneath the forelock's veil.

He smiles, revealing silver and hailstones,
It wanders over silver, over hail,
and dewy daisies and pearls.
Over buds, over dew, over pearls.
