تعلوyou rise high تطولyou excel تقمعyou subdue

You bestow favors, befriend, show gracious care, grant bounty, and keep faith;
You rise high, excel, and subdue,
فيin عزthe might of سلطانsovereignty عليكabove you لواؤهits banner
في عز سلطان عليك لواؤه
والدهرand time ممتثلobedient تقولyou speak فيسمعso it listens
والدهر ممتثل تقول فيسمع
In the might of sovereignty, its banner above you;
And time stands obedient: you speak, and it listens.
