كُنْ لِدارٍ شَيَّدْتَها خَيْرَ نازِلْ

كُنْ لِدارٍ شَيَّدْتَها خَيْرَ نازِلْ

في هَناءٍ وسامِياتِ مَنازِلْ

في هَناءٍ وسامِياتِ مَنازِلْ

Be the best inhabitant of the house you have built,

Be the finest dweller in the house you have built,

in bliss, amid lofty mansions.

in bliss and lofty stations.

أنْتَ بَدْرٌ بَيْنَ الأنامِ مُنِيرٌ

أنْتَ بَدْرٌ بَيْنَ الأنامِ مُنِيرٌ

وهيَ سَعْدُ السُّعودِ بَيْنَ المَنازِلْ

وهيَ سَعْدُ السُّعودِ بَيْنَ المَنازِلْ

You are a full moon, radiant among humankind,

You are a radiant full moon among humankind,

and it is Saʿd al-Suʿūd—Fortune of Fortunes—among the mansions.

and it is Saʿd al-Suʿūd among the mansions.
