Sol 6.1

  1. أبرُوقٌ تلألأتْ أم ثغورُ

    وليالٍ دجتْ لنا أم شعورُ

    Are these glittering flashes of lightning, or smiling mouths?

    And nights grown dark before us, or tresses?

  2. وغصُونٌ تأوّدَتْ أم قدودٌ

    حاملاتٌ رمّانهنّ الصّدورُ

    And bending boughs, or slender figures,

    With bosoms bearing their pomegranates?
