For every light-footed man, weigh down

Every light-footed man grew heavy,

The lightness of his feet with iron.

Weighed down his feet with iron.

Make him taste, as a consequence of what he has done,

Made him taste the fruit of his misdeeds -

What Yahya tasted at al-Rashid’s hands.

What fate did Yahya suffer at the hands of al-Rashid.
