للهِ منّي قِناعُ

للهِ منّي قِناعُ

O you who admire my qualities,

How wondrous is the veil I bear,

كهالَةٍ حوْلَ بدْرٍ

كهالَةٍ حوْلَ بدْرٍ

يَروقُ منْهُ شُعاعُ

يَروقُ منْهُ شُعاعُ

Like a halo around a full moon,

Whose radiance delights the eye.

شمْلُ المحاسنِ طرّاً

شمْلُ المحاسنِ طرّاً

لهُ لديّ اجْتِماعُ

لهُ لديّ اجْتِماعُ

The host of beauties, one and all,

Is gathered together in me.

وما جَمالِي ببِدْعٍ

وما جَمالِي ببِدْعٍ

إذ راقَ منهُ ابْتِداعُ

إذ راقَ منهُ ابْتِداعُ

Nor is my beauty anything strange,

Since his creative work proved so pleasing.

بناصِرِ الدّينِ أضْحى

بناصِرِ الدّينِ أضْحى

فيهِ حَديثي يُذاعُ

فيهِ حَديثي يُذاعُ

Through Nasir al-Din, it has come to pass

That my words about him are spread abroad.

لا زالَ للقدْرِ منْهُ

لا زالَ للقدْرِ منْهُ

فوقَ النجومِ ارْتِفاعُ

فوقَ النجومِ ارْتِفاعُ

May high rank, through him, ever

Rise above the stars.
