    والزَّهْرُ منْ ذِكْريَ آراجُها

    It is loftiness—its path lies beneath me;

    And the flowers draw their fragrances from the mention of me.

    And I am God's mercy whenever

    One in need of it stretches out a hopeful hand.

    And today I am the Kaaba of generosity, as

    Its throngs make for the lord of creation.

    And the king's court and his Alhambra—

    Its towers mirror the constellations of the horizon.

    If indeed my edifice has risen on its horizon—

    Its lovely wreath or its crown—

    Or the meteors of my sky have soared, whose

    Ascent begins above the palace gate,

    يَهديهِ نحْوَ القَصْدِ وهّاجُها

    Then everyone who has strayed from the path of guidance

    Is guided toward the right course by their blazing light;

    And everyone who hopes for clouds of bounty

    From his palm has his thirst quenched by their downpour.
