أناI والمَوْلَىand the lord ابْنُson of نصْرٍNasr يوسُفٌYusuf
أنا والمَوْلَى ابْنُ نصْرٍ يوسُفٌ
قِبلَةُdirection faced in prayer الجودِgenerosity وقِبْلةُand direction faced in prayer السّجودْprostration
قِبلَةُ الجودِ وقِبْلةُ السّجودْ
I and the lord Yusuf ibn Nasr—
the qibla of generosity and the qibla of prostration.
فكلاناso both of us للهُدىfor guidance لكنّهbut he
فكلانا للهُدى لكنّه
يهَبُbestows النّائِلَbounty دونيunlike me للوُجودْupon creation
يهَبُ النّائِلَ دوني للوُجودْ
Both of us serve guidance, yet he
bestows bounty upon creation, unlike me.
