Have you forgotten our two vows in a hallowed valley,

Did you forget our pact in an exalted valley,

Where no crops grow save good deeds?

With no crops but good deeds?

وأنت حرام حرمة الحج والهوى

وأنت حرام حرمة الحج والهوى

على العين ألا هفوة اللحظات

على العين ألا هفوة اللحظات

And you are forbidden, with the sanctity of pilgrimage and love,

And you are as sacred as the Pilgrimage and passion

To the eye, save for a lapse in its glances.
