1. من يعبدِ الله على أمره

    ذاك الذي يعبده حقا

    Whoever worships God according to His command,

    that is the one who truly worships Him.

  2. من يعبدِ الله على شرعه

    ذاك الذي يعبده رقا

    Whoever worships God according to His law,

    that is the one who worships Him in servitude.

  3. العبدُ من يعبدُه هكذا

    لا يلتفت أجراً ولا خلقا

    The servant is the one who worships Him thus,

    paying heed neither to reward nor to creation.

  4. والله يجزيه على فعله

    صِدقاً لما قد قاله صدقا

    And God rewards him for his deed,

    truly, in keeping with what He has said in truth.
