لما رأيتُ وجودي في تجليه

لما رأيتُ وجودي في تجليه

رأيتُ ما كنتُ أبغيه وأنفيه

رأيتُ ما كنتُ أبغيه وأنفيه

When I saw my existence in His self-disclosure,

When I saw my existence in its manifestation

I saw what I had sought and denied.

I saw what I had wanted and denied

فما رأيتُ وجوداً كنت أظهره

فما رأيتُ وجوداً كنت أظهره

إلا رأيتُ وجوداً منه أخفيه

إلا رأيتُ وجوداً منه أخفيه

For I saw no existence that I made manifest

So I saw no existence that I revealed

without seeing an existence I concealed from Him.

Except I saw an existence from it, I concealed

إذا علمتُ بهذا واتصفتُ به

إذا علمتُ بهذا واتصفتُ به

علمت أن له عهداً يوفيه

علمت أن له عهداً يوفيه

When I know this and embody it,

When I knew this and was characterized by it

I know that He has a covenant He fulfills.

I knew that for it there is a covenant to fulfill
