There is no choice in existence for one who has witnessed.

And how can he deny what he has indeed found in the cosmos?

And the Qur'an has indeed brought it to you in surahs.

The one who denied it understands through them when they are recited.

Thus I restricted it to one endowed with witnessing; so do not

add to it, nor associate anyone with Him.

Whom, then, could I admit, when in knowledge there is no one

but God, witnessed in His creation?

The forms are their forms, and creation their very selves.

Yes, and their form is indeed as has been related.

Because He is our hearing—rather, He was our formation:

spirit and a body's form—do not say a lifeless body.

None addresses Him but His own reality.

His very Self is intended, and He is the one sought.

There is no other there for His identity to annihilate.

Thus it was declared that the Real has not begotten,

nor did He arise from anything that preceded Him.

So He alone possesses existence, eternal and originated.
