    The matter is too great for anyone to attain it.

    So it has no basis in the realm of knowledge.

    ولا بعينها فكْرٌ ولا سَنَد

    The report has come, yet you do not know its true nature;

    nor can thought or transmitted authority grasp its very essence.

    And unveiling has no part in it,

    for it is confined to the existence of forms.

    God's command, as has been related, is one,

    and the servant, through his secret, is united with the Real.

    Thus you see no body but it is followed,

    the moment its very being passes away, by another body.
