The heart is the dwelling of Him who fashioned it and took it

as a house where He dwells in generosity and has not cast it aside [reading uncertain].

And how could He cast it aside when the Real dwells within it,

when the hearts of the people of falsehood are cast aside?

Indeed, the hearts He has adorned with knowledge

are the hearts chosen for the Real.

So every heart from which its coverings have lifted,

and its lock, is a heart He has taken for love.

Its dweller has chosen it for what we have said,

and secluded it from all besides Him, from the states of blindness.

So if he shot at it with an arrow of his own,

seeking blindness and striking the eye, he would not save it.
