يا صاحب البصر المحجوبِ ناظره

يا صاحب البصر المحجوبِ ناظره

غمض لتدركَ من لا شيء يدركُه

غمض لتدركَ من لا شيء يدركُه

O possessor of sight, whose gaze is veiled,

O friend whose sight is veiled, look within

Close your eyes to perceive the One whom nothing perceives.

Close your eyes to grasp what nothing grasps

واعلم بأنك إن أرسلته عبثاً

واعلم بأنك إن أرسلته عبثاً

فإنه خلف سِتر الكونِ تتركه

فإنه خلف سِتر الكونِ تتركه

And know that if you let it roam in vain,

Know that if you cast it out in vain

Then you leave Him behind the veil of the cosmos.

Behind the veil of existence you'll abandon it
