Knowledge is the best thing to possess and acquire.

And knowledge is the fairest thing with which souls are adorned.

Through knowledge, the Lord of the worlds sets a seal upon

the heart of the servants, so no pride dwells in it.

For it finds the doors closed,

through his innate disposition or through what he has acquired.

Say it however you wish, for the matter turns him about.

And do not fear a misguided person in seeking it.

And how can pride enter one whose true nature

is poverty, helplessness, and death, to one who is aware?

A person sees a flea’s bite causing him pain,

besides the hardships he encounters as his state changes.

Thus sense perception teaches this to whoever possesses it,

during his stay or when he departs.
