Indeed, the veil upon us is our very form.

So, since there is no escape, veil me with His form.

And do not bring me down into what gives me no joy,

After I had attained from Him His very exalted rank.

Since you were united with the Real in sight,

The servant, then, is distinct from Him in his inward vision.

If he were to veil Him as you wish through him,

The Real would seek him through the beauty of his conduct.
