إني أفاديك يا من عزَّ مطلبه

إني أفاديك يا من عزَّ مطلبه

بالنفسِ والمالِ والأهلين والولد

Indeed, I ransom you, O you so hard to attain,

I will help you my friend, whose desire is dear

With my life, my wealth, my family, and my offspring.

With my soul, wealth, family and children

قل المساعد إذ عزَّتْ مطالبكم

قل المساعد إذ عزَّتْ مطالبكم

على الشهودِ وما بالربع من أحد

على الشهودِ وما بالربع من أحد

Helpers grew scarce when your aims proved difficult

Say: The All-Helper - when your desires have become difficult

For the witnesses; and there is no one in the dwelling

Is with the witnesses, and none in the land but Him

سواك فانظر فما أبصرتُ من أحد

سواك فانظر فما أبصرتُ من أحد

إلا وأنت له ظلٌّ بلا جدِ

إلا وأنت له ظلٌّ بلا جدِ

Other than you. Look, then: I have seen no one

Except You, so look and see, I have not perceived anyone

For whom you are not a shadow without substance.

Who is not in Your shade, without joking
