إن الغنى لله منا كما

إن الغنى لله منا كما

منه أنا الفقر الذي يُعرفُ

منه أنا الفقر الذي يُعرفُ

Indeed, God's self-sufficiency is from us, just as

Indeed from us is wealth for God

I am, from Him, the poverty that is known.

Just as from Him is the poverty I bear

إذ قد تسمى الله في خلقه

إذ قد تسمى الله في خلقه

بما سمعتم وهو المنصفُ

بما سمعتم وهو المنصفُ

For God has indeed named Himself in His creation

For God is named in His creation

by the names you have heard, and He is the equitable One.

With what you have heard, and He is the Just

فكلُّ من يسأل عن حاله

فكلُّ من يسأل عن حاله

فإنه هو إن تكن تُنصف

فإنه هو إن تكن تُنصف

So everyone who is asked about his state

So whoever asks about his state

is indeed He, if you are fair.

Indeed it is He, if you would be fair
