إنَّ داراً لستَ فيها تُعزى

إنَّ داراً لستَ فيها تُعزى

ودياراً أنتَ فيها تهنى

ودياراً أنتَ فيها تهنى

Indeed, a dwelling where you are absent is offered condolences,

A house where you are not honored

and dwellings where you are present are congratulated.

And dwellings where you are blessed

فاحمدِ الله على كلِّ حال

فاحمدِ الله على كلِّ حال

واتخذ ربَّك رُكنا وحِصنا

واتخذ ربَّك رُكنا وحِصنا

So praise God in every circumstance,

So thank God in any case

and take your Lord as a support and a fortress.

And take your Lord as cornerstone and fortress
