إنْ داراً أنت فيها تُهنّى

إنْ داراً أنت فيها تُهنّى

ودياراً لستَ فيها تُعزَّى

ودياراً لستَ فيها تُعزَّى

Indeed, a home with you in it is congratulated,

If you are home, you are blissful;

and homes without you are consoled.

If you are not home, you will not be consoled;

فاشكرِ الله على كلِّ حال

فاشكرِ الله على كلِّ حال

واتخذ ربَّك رُكنا وحرزا

واتخذ ربَّك رُكنا وحرزا

So thank God in every circumstance,

So thank God in any case,

and take your Lord as a support and a refuge.

And take your Lord as a pillar and refuge.
