أنا عنقاءُ الوجودِ المشترك

أنا عنقاءُ الوجودِ المشترك

قدّستْ ذاتي عن حبسِ الشّرك

قدّستْ ذاتي عن حبسِ الشّرك

I am the phoenix of shared existence.

I am the universal being's graceful neck

My essence is sanctified beyond the confinement of polytheism.

My self is consecrated, free from any shackle

أنا مثن والمثاني صفتي

أنا مثن والمثاني صفتي

وأنا الثاني لسرّ مُشترك

وأنا الثاني لسرّ مُشترك

I am one who praises, and the oft-repeated verses are my attribute.

I am the second, my attribute being duality

And I am the second to a shared secret.

And I am the second, to a shared mystery
