بلغوا عني أم الأربعه

بلغوا عني أم الأربعه

أنني فيما تريد امعه

أنني فيما تريد امعه

Convey on my behalf to the Mother of the Four

Convey from me to Umm Al-Arba'a

That I am an unquestioning follower in whatever she desires.

That I, in what she desires, am obedient

نظرت عيني إليها نظرةً

نظرت عيني إليها نظرةً

ملأت قلبي نوراً وسعه

ملأت قلبي نوراً وسعه

My eye cast a glance at her,

My eyes looked at her with a look

Which filled my heart with light and spaciousness.

That filled my heart with ample light

فإذا شتت أمري قدرٌ

فإذا شتت أمري قدرٌ

جاء منها ما إليها جمعه

جاء منها ما إليها جمعه

So whenever fate scatters my affairs,

So if my affair is scattered by fate

From her comes what gathers them back to her.

There comes from her what to her has gathered it

لم أسميها لأني خفت أنْ

لم أسميها لأني خفت أنْ

يطلق الجارُ عليها الأربعه

يطلق الجارُ عليها الأربعه

I did not name her, because I feared that

I did not name her, for I feared that

The neighbor might unleash the four upon her.

The neighbor would call her Al-Arba'a

علموا أهل ودادي أنه

علموا أهل ودادي أنه

فاز قلبي بالذي قد وسعه

فاز قلبي بالذي قد وسعه

Tell those dear to me that

Let those dear to me know that

My heart has won what it had encompassed.

My heart has won what has expanded it

باتباعِ المصطفى حصله

باتباعِ المصطفى حصله

وحبيبِ الله من قد تعبه

وحبيبِ الله من قد تعبه

It attained it by following the Chosen One;

Through following Al-Mustafa it attained it

And God's beloved is one who has wearied him.

And the Beloved of God who has exerted himself

أصبحت فيهم بهم حاكمةٌ

أصبحت فيهم بهم حاكمةٌ

وهمُ بين يديها وزعه

وهمُ بين يديها وزعه

She became a ruler among them, through them,

She has become among them ruling over them

And they are marshals before her.

And they are before her, humbled

فيهم يحكم فيهم ولهم

فيهم يحكم فيهم ولهم

وعليهم حكمُ مَنْ قد شرعه

وعليهم حكمُ مَنْ قد شرعه

Among them rules, concerning them and for them,

Among them she rules, for them and theirs

And over them, the decree of the one who ordained it.

And over them is the rule of the one who has legislated it

قال لي الحق وقد سرَّحني

قال لي الحق وقد سرَّحني

من قيود الطبعِ لما منعه

من قيود الطبعِ لما منعه

The Real said to me, having set me free

The Truth said to me, and had freed me

From nature's fetters, when He restrained it:

From the shackles of nature, from what has prevented it

مع من أنت عبيدي في الهوى

مع من أنت عبيدي في الهوى

قلت ربي أنا والله معه

قلت ربي أنا والله معه

'With whom are you in love, My little servant?'

"With whom are you, My servant, in love?"

I said, 'My Lord—I am, by God, with Him.'

I said "My Lord, I am with her."
