أقنع بما قد جرى به تسلمي

فإنه ما استقرَّ بي قدمي

فإنه ما استقرَّ بي قدمي

Be content with what has come to pass, and you will be safe.

I am content with what has come to pass, so resign yourself

For my foot has never stood firm.

For my feet are no longer settled in one place

وإنني جامعٌ كما جمعتْ

وإنني جامعٌ كما جمعتْ

أسرارُ كوني جوامعَ الكلمِ

أسرارُ كوني جوامعَ الكلمِ

And I am all-embracing, just as

And I gather as the mysteries of my being gathered

And all that I have said was made known to me

فما أبالي بما يفوت إذا

كان الذي قد ذكرته حكمي

So I care not what passes me by, if

So why should I care about what escapes me if

what I have mentioned is my decree.

What I mentioned is my judgment and wisdom

وإنه كل ما أفوه به

وإنه كل ما أفوه به

من التفاصيل فيه من حكم

من التفاصيل فيه من حكم

And indeed, all that I give voice to

And everything I utter in details

in detail holds wisdom within it.

ما هي شيءٌ سواه فاعتبروا

ما هي شيءٌ سواه فاعتبروا

في نسخة النور من دُجى الظلم

في نسخة النور من دُجى الظلم

That wisdom is nothing other than Him; so reflect

It is nothing but Him, so consider

فتلك غيبٌ وذا شهادتُه
