وَنَعودُ سَيِّدنا وَسَيِّد غَيرِنا

وَنَعودُ سَيِّدنا وَسَيِّد غَيرِنا

لَيتَ التَّشَكّي كانَ بِالعوّادِ

لَيتَ التَّشَكّي كانَ بِالعوّادِ

And we visit our master and the master of others.

And we return, our master and master of others

Would that the suffering fell upon the visitors!

If only complaining was with the returning

لَو كانَ يَقبَلُ فِديَةً لَفَدَيته

لَو كانَ يَقبَلُ فِديَةً لَفَدَيته

بِالمُصطَفى مِن طارِفي وَتلادي

بِالمُصطَفى مِن طارِفي وَتلادي

If he would accept a ransom, I would ransom him

If ransom was accepted I would ransom him

With the choicest of my newly acquired and inherited wealth.

With the Chosen One from my belongings and children
