عَجِبتُ لِمَن يَراك وَبَعد هَذا

عَجِبتُ لِمَن يَراك وَبَعد هَذا

يُحاوِلُ أَن يَرى مَلِكاً سِواكا

يُحاوِلُ أَن يَرى مَلِكاً سِواكا

I marvel at one who sees you and, after this,

I'm amazed by those who see you and after that

seeks to see a king other than you.

Still try to see another king but you

وَقَد جَمَعَ الإِلَهُ لَدَيك ما قَد

وَقَد جَمَعَ الإِلَهُ لَدَيك ما قَد

تَفرَّق في البَريّة مِن حُلاكا

تَفرَّق في البَريّة مِن حُلاكا

And God has gathered in you what had

God has gathered in you what was scattered

been scattered among humankind of your graces.

In the wilderness of ornaments and finery

وَما أَحَدٌ يَؤمّ ذراك يَوماً

وَما أَحَدٌ يَؤمّ ذراك يَوماً

فَيَختار التَرحّلَ عَن ذراكا

فَيَختار التَرحّلَ عَن ذراكا

And no one who ever seeks your shelter

No one settles by your abode one day

then chooses to depart from your shelter.

Then chooses to travel away from your home

فَسُبحان الَّذي أَعطاك مُلكاً

فَسُبحان الَّذي أَعطاك مُلكاً

عَلى مِقدار ما أَعلى عُلاكا

عَلى مِقدار ما أَعلى عُلاكا

So glory be to Him who gave you sovereignty

So glory to Him who gave you a kingdom

in proportion to how high He raised your eminence.

As high as He elevated your supreme height
