كُسرتْwas broken يدٌa hand مِنْof نافرٍone who flees
كُسرتْ يدٌ مِنْ نافرٍ
عنيfrom me تعاظَمَgrew formidable كيدُهُhis scheming
عني تعاظَمَ كيدُهُ
The hand of whoever contended with me was broken—
Broken was the hand of one who fled
against me his guile had grown formidable.
from me, whose scheming had grown formidable.
والظبيُand the gazelle مهماwhenever عاقَهُhindered it
والظبيُ مهما عاقَهُ
شيءٌsomething تيسَّرَbecomes easy صيدُهُcatching it
شيءٌ تيسَّرَ صيدُهُ
And the gazelle, no matter what may hinder it,
And the gazelle, whenever it is hindered
is made easy to capture.
