يُخجِلُ الغصنَ النَّضيرْ

Said a handsome perfumer,

A handsome perfume seller,

Who puts the verdant bough to shame:

Who shames the delicate branch,

وجنتي وردٌ مربَى

وجنتي وردٌ مربَى

والسنا عندي كثير

والسنا عندي كثير

“My cheek is rose preserve,

My garden has cultivated roses,

And I have radiance in abundance.”

And I have plenty of brightness.
