زادَ في ظلم عاشقيه حبيبي

فبحقي إذا دعوتُ عليهِ

My lover has increased the injustice against me

So I have the right when I invoke against him

لا شفى اللهُ خصرَه من نحولٍ

وأدامَ الذبولَ في شفتيهِ

May God not heal his emaciated waist

And prolong the withering of his lips

وأطالَ ارتجاجَ ردفَيْه حتى

يُتْعباهُ والكسرُ في جفنيهِ

And extend the trembling of his sides until

Exhaustion overcomes him and brokenness fills his eyelids
