باركَ اللهُ في قليلِ ذُهَيْبٍ

باركَ اللهُ في قليلِ ذُهَيْبٍ

صانني عنْ تبذُّلٍ وسؤالِ

صانني عنْ تبذُّلٍ وسؤالِ

May God bless a little gold,

May God bless little Dhuhayb

which kept me from debasement and begging.

Who protected me from begging and asking

وجزى اللهُ مَنْ دعا لصديقٍ

وجزى اللهُ مَنْ دعا لصديقٍ

بارتفاعٍ وقد رأى ما جرى لي

بارتفاعٍ وقد رأى ما جرى لي

And may God reward whoever prayed for a friend

And may God reward whoever prays for a friend

to rise, having seen what befell me.

With elevation, though he has seen what has happened to me
