ما صحبةُ السجّانِ محمودةٌ

فاحذرْ منَ السجانِ في الجملَهْ

كم حبسوا منْ مجرمٍ عندَهُ

فحازَ مِنْ كلِّ امرئٍ خصلَهْ

فحازَ مِنْ كلِّ امرئٍ خصلَهْ

How many criminals they have imprisoned in his custody!

How many criminals have they imprisoned with him

So he acquired a trait from every man.

And he has gained a trait from every man
