إنْ لمتُ حظي فلا تلمني

إنْ لمتُ حظي فلا تلمني

فإنَّ لومي لهُ بحقِّ

فإنَّ لومي لهُ بحقِّ

If I blame my fortune, do not blame me.

If I am not fortunate, do not blame me,

For my blame of it is justified.

For blaming me is truly unjust.

للضدِّ رزقٌ بلا حسابٍ

للضدِّ رزقٌ بلا حسابٍ

ولي حسابٌ بغيرِ رزقِ

ولي حسابٌ بغيرِ رزقِ

The adversary has sustenance without reckoning;

Opposites have sustenance without account,

And I have reckoning without sustenance.

While I have account without sustenance.
