I kiss the tips of arrows, imagining them
I kiss the tips of arrows though they've pierced
Arrows of glances by which my breast has been struck.
My heart, arrows shot from your eyelashes.

And I embrace the Indian sword and the spear in battle,
In battle's fury I embrace the sword,
For both are numbered among the fair and the dusky.
The spear--both dark and fair are joined as one.
