فعدْ عنهنَّ واذكرْ خجلةَ الحَبَلِ

فعدْ عنهنَّ واذكرْ خجلةَ الحَبَلِ

Black women are not like white women; intimacy with black women is a disgrace.

Blacks are not like whites, and association with blacks is harmful,

So turn away from them, and remember the shame of pregnancy.

So abandon them and remember the shame of pregnancy outside marriage,

وارجعْ إلى الحقِّ والطبعِ السليمِ تجدْ

وارجعْ إلى الحقِّ والطبعِ السليمِ تجدْ

في طلعةِ الشمسِ ما يغنيكَ عَنْ زُحَلِ

في طلعةِ الشمسِ ما يغنيكَ عَنْ زُحَلِ

And return to truth and sound disposition; you will find

And return to truth and good nature, you will find

In the sun’s countenance what leaves you no need for Saturn.

In the rising sun what will suffice you instead of Saturn.
