    And many a gazelle rose

In my heart, which is her pasture.

I set nets for her, made of

Pure gold; then we caught her.

She enriched me through meeting her

And cast me into her abode.

And she said to me, when we had come

To a spring we had sought:

“You weighed out the gold; now line the eye with kohl,

With her countenance beside its stream.”
