يقولُ للبدرِ سافرْ

And a maker of kufi caps

And a maker of caps

says to the full moon, “Journey on!”

بيني وبينكَ فرقٌ

بيني وبينكَ فرقٌ

وأنتَ للعينِ دائرْ

وأنتَ للعينِ دائرْ

Between you and me there is a difference:

There is a difference between me and you,

to the eye, you are round.”
