1. وأغيدٍ يسألني

    ما المبتدا والخبرُ

    And a graceful youth asks me:

    “What are the subject and the predicate?

  2. مثلْهما لي مسرعاً

    فقلتُ أنتَ القمرُ

    Give me examples of both, quickly.”

    So I said, “You are the moon.”
