إنما البيرةُ بيرٌ
رحلتيmy departure منهاfrom it سعادهْhappiness
رحلتي منها سعادهْ
Al-Bira is nothing but a well.
My departure from it is happiness.
قيلَit was said والبيرةُand al-Bira بيرٌa well
قيلَ والبيرةُ بيرٌ
قلتُI said بيرٌa well وزيادَهْand more
قلتُ بيرٌ وزيادَهْ
It was said, 'And al-Bira is a well?'
I said, 'A well—and more.'
