يُخجِلُ الغصنَ النضِيرْ

A handsome perfumer said,

A graceful perfumer said,

Putting the verdant bough to shame:

Who puts the fresh branch to shame

وجنتي وردٌ مربَّى

وجنتي وردٌ مربَّى

والسنا عندي كثيرْ

والسنا عندي كثيرْ

“My cheek is rose preserve,

My garden has cultivated roses

And I have radiance in abundance.”

And I have abundant brightness
